a ATA-100 hardrive will be faster on a ATA-133

i got 2400points more in sandra with my ATA-100 IBM drive

it ain't easy looking for a mobo at this time. just remember that the next logical upgrade after the kt333 chipset is the board for the Hammerhead. which will be around this time next year.

if i read AMD's road map correctly. VIA's roadmap still looks foggy to me though.

Its an excellent board, it will be by no means disappointing, I run anything very fast and fine on my kt133a chipset, and hell, the 266 is much faster then it apparently..

It will be like lightning!

Did someone mention purple colored PCB? Whelp this un looks kinda purple 2 me but they say it is red

I'll put in another vote for the Soltek SL 75 DRV2 or DRV4

I'm using a SL 75 DRV2 - its a great board. There's lots of others that are in the same class, but you won't go wrong with the Soltek's combination of performance and quality.

A friend bought a kr7a-raid and it had bad memory slots, he rma'd it and the next board had *we think* a corrupt bios. On top of that his first Abit board, a k7a-raid had one bad raid channel....but he said he could live with that

Anyway,he said no more Abit and got that new Gigabyte GA-7DXR and hasn't had any problems.
