how to transfer games to an external hard drive...

I am a dunce just so everyone knows off the bat...
I bought an external hard drive and now I want to transfer my games to it to make my computer faster...
I just copied and pasted the music and pictures - that was easy even for me...
but now I am stuck...
Is this even possible?

yes, yes, and yes it is possible. i have a game called test drive unlimited for the pc and i mod the heck out of this game. before i mod each .bnk file i back it up. i own several 8 gig usb flash drives and i run my games through this component. the game itself in size is roughly 7.63 gigs so i barely made it on one flash drive. to do this simply copy and paste and you are good to go. those simple steps works for me and i am enjoying my modded cars, environment, and so forth.
