I've been researching systems and builders for a while so that I know what I need (want?) when I get around to ordering my new computer next spring. I've got two Dells now, but I've swore off them for my new computer. Really tired of talking to India for support. So now I'm looking at the boutique builders. Some builders are now offering dual boot systems (i.e., Digital Storm), XP and Vista. So that tells you how much faith the builders have in Vista. Note that for retail customers, Microsoft supports past systems for two years after they introduce a new system, but for business customers they support past systems for seven years. So anyone buying a computer now w/ XP should get the XP Pro. Maybe a few bucks more, but at least it will be supported for a while longer.

Zeex is infamous around these parts
My Acer notebook with 2Ghz dual core and 1gb ram isn't enough. Vista is slow. Also I'm having some issues on wifi configuration connecting to my router, it connects alright but you need to do it over and over again after you turn off the laptop, but using another old laptop (Sony VAIO) doesn't have this problem.

Is it worth it to switch to Vista?
