SiliconJon is on a distinguished road
I would recommend:

1) Uninstall Flash
2) Install FireFox web browser
3) Reboot
4) Close any apps that are in your system tray (right click, exit)
5) Install Flash (both the IE and Firefox standalones)
6) Reboot

Try it in both browsers. I have run into a few computers where I have been unable to resolve this very issue, but sometimes this works.
