Hi!

Can someone pls help?
I have tried to upgrade my bios for acer travelmate 4070 and now all I get
when I reboot is a blank screen and some beeps.
but the thing is that my machine continues to windows without the monitor working.

Sounds like time to try resetting the CMOS, but I am not sure how to achieve that on Acer laptops. Maybe someone at Techimo would know? www.techimo.com

hi!

thank u for trying to help.
But my problem is that i need a travelmate 4070 bios file v.3a18 to be able to fix my bios.
after upgradin I restarted and all is well exept for the beeps and the screen not coming on, so I cant see what i am doing.
I can make a bootup cd and build a batch file that can help restore my bios if only I could get That Backup file in my HDD.

So if any1 Has the 3a18.bin or WPH file I would be greatfull

but now I can make a bootup cd but cant see anything. I need to get the old bios file out of there so I can restore it.

so if you could show me where I could get v3a18.bin or wph file I would be thankfull to you.

I can now create an autoexec batch file on my bootup cd to make the restore. I realy need that file.
