Installing a Card Reader Panel onto the Asus P5b Deluxe

I am purchasing the Asus p5b deluxe mobo to be used with a core 2 duo cpu. In the Lian Li case I've chosen, there are no front side firewire and audio inputs. Therefore I have been looking for the perfect card reader panel (for my tastes).

I wanted something that connects internally (as opposed to the back end firewire connectors), fits into a floppy drive, and has usb, firewire, audio, and card reader options all in one. I settled on the Silverstone fp34. It seems like a quick and easy install and reliable from some reviews I've read. And it connects internally to the mobo. However I cant tell how many connections it uses.

Can somebody take a look at this reader from Silverstone ( http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-fp34.htm ...also found on newegg ) and let me know if the Asus P5B Deluxe ( http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merch...Code=IMB_Core2 ) will have the necessary connections to hook everything up to it?

The Lian Li case I've chosen has 2 front USB ports, but nothing else will be occupied other than that. I've never built a computer so I'm not familiar with connecting drives of this nature. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Brandon

it should work fine with that motherboard. its looks like you might have an extra wire or two, as it looks like their are 2 1394 firewire connections and your board only supports one

a good picture

a review with lots of info
