advice on memory limitations
hi folks.. im new here and would like u to clear a doubt i got. im buying a new pc and started with the motherboard. its an asus p5wd2. on its user guide says that ddr2-667 with cl=4 will be downgraded to run at ddr2-533 by default setting. if a buy a ddr2-667 with cl=3 or equals 5 will it still be dowgraded? if a want to operate with lower latency how can a adjust the memory timing manually?
