Just to cover the extreme basics first, did you turn the PSU on using the switch in the back? (I don't mean to infer that you don't know anything, but I always like to start with the stupid things first, because generally that's where I find most of my problems.)

Well, why don't we go from the beginning then... What caused you to have to replace the PSU in the first place? You said this is a new system... Did you ever have it powered on with the old PSU? Can you switch back, just to make sure it's the PSU and not something else?

First off, its not a new system. Its a used system that was bought at a thrift store. At first it seemed to me that the fans were noisy: cpu, psu and chipset. So i decided to replace the Liteon with a Enlight from another system i had. The used system would not power on. So i replaced the Liteon back in it. Again the mobo is an Abit KG7. I can't remember if the board posted or not.

So the system worked before pulling the PSU, but the fans seemed loud, then after replacing the PSU the system quit working? Or was it not booting when you got it?

Knowing if it POSTs would narrow things down a bit, but it doesn't point to anything in particular.

Are the fans coming on now? Any indication of life out of it at all? If not, I'd first check to make sure all of the wires to the motherboard are plugged in properly (mainly the power switch wire).

If those are all fine, and the fans come on, I'd pull all of the memory out of it and see if it beeps. This is to make sure that the MB is at least getting power.

If the fans are not coming on, and the Enlight works in the system you pulled it from before, then I'd try the MB in another case, just to make sure the power switch itself didn't go bad for some reason.

Mainly, however, I have to know if the fans come on still, and if the MB beeps with no RAM. We can go further from there.
