Hooking up my receiver to my computer?

Hello Audio Gurus,

I am wanting to hook up my stereo receiver (Technics SA-DX930) to either my computer speakers or TV speakers. My main goal is just to have the radio play over the speakers.

The back of the stereo only has speaker ports where you need the wire exposed and you fit it in the slot....not the RCA ports.

I tried going from Audio Out (from TAPE and VCR) to the TV's Audio In.....but that didn't do anything.

Can I not get the radio to the TV speakers or computer speakers without having the speakers with exposed wires?????

Would it be possible for me to hook up the red and white rca end to the TV's AUDIO IN and cut the other end of the cable to expose the wire???

Let me know!!! Thanks in advance!!!

very simple,

get a cable (or make one), that has bare wires on one end and a mini 1/8" stereo jack on the other end. plug that in the line-in of the comp (pink port usualy), and set the line-in volume in the control section

good luck,
