I called their "support" which is on par with Dell. I explained that I opened the cover, saw no paper jam (as the last doc was perfect), closed the cover, and still found the error message. I then unplugged the unit, waited, and plugged it back in. The guy then proceeded to give me a step by step instruction on how to open the cover, inspect it, and cl.... I DID THAT ALREADY.
Googling this pulled a ton of links, I guess Brother is famous for failing after a year. $200 for a year + ink.. what a waste.
