Running 2 nVidia SLI video card without SLI connector

Can someone correct me if I am wrong, Is it true that I can run two 6600 in a SLI motherboard instead of the 6600GT and above..

http://www.slizone.com/object/slizon...ied_addincards

Under 6600 section I see my video card "Chaintec SE6600" and I am a bit confused, I have a MSI K8N Neo4/SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI motherboard and 1 Chaintech SE6600 256MB, I am trying to get one more SE6600 if it support SLI.

You can't run two cards in SLI mode without the bridge. That's a necessary piece of equipment. Without it, you just have two video cards in your system.

Thats what I though too, before I read this on nvidia's site

http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_23412.html

GEFORCE 6600:
These graphics cards do not use the SLI Connector, But they are SLI ready. So thats what makes it a little confusing to understand. I know the SLI bridge is slower but I wanted to know can it be done meaning putting two standard 6600 into the system and by using the driver nvidia provide ?

The necessary drivers and bios updates have yet to be released to support this. I am unsure if you will be able to use your motherboard with Nvidia's new bridgless SLI tech or not.

I just got the word today, I could have two 6600 and have them run in SLI mode. All I really need is the driver v75 and above to support it. Thanks any way guys.
