Computer System

i was wondering, do the strong vibrations that come from the bass (Theatre System) affect the PC Hardware in any way, because i have a 1000 Watt Home Theatre System next to my PC and was getting worried i might damage some part of my system. Thanks
Carlos

Good question, as there's likely to be some vibration and possible magnetic shielding issues.

I'll see if I can find an expert opinion

As long as you don't place your sub right next to your computer you'll generally be all right. It's a good idea to have the sub AT LEAST 3 feet away from your computer case.(that's my own arbitrary number.) Other than that don't worry too much about vibrations.

BTW 1000W doesn't tell us much as I have a 110W system that will kick most any 1000W system's butt. Unless your a real audiophile or built it yourself, a home theater system you buy in the store isn't going to have enough power to actually damage something from vibrations.
