Error installing win2k service pack 4
Updating windows 2000 pro from sp1 to sp4. Got Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check). Appreciate any help.

Thanks for the help. Saw a site where someone fixed the problem by uninstalling Norton Internet Security. Microsoft gives this advise also. Will try this.

Yes, antivirus software is usually frustrating when you try to update any kind of system file. Always easier to disable/uninstall first.
