My monitor only shows 2 or 16 colors...any help please?

Hello all,

I found a computer...someone must of thrown it in the trash. I picked it up and brought it to my house. I got it up and running, except for this...

The monitor only shows 2 or 16 colors...plus I cannot change the 'screen image' size.

I looked at my motherboard, and all it say is...

The monitor I am using is an Emachine eview14.

hmm... Did you try updating the graphics card drivers? You may also need to update the monitor drivers, too.
