Hi,
I'm having a problem with sending emails to certain addresses using Outlook 2000. My ISP uses POP3 and SMTP
My OS=WinXP Pro
I have checked into the WinXP Pro "Setup" using the OS disk.
Under "Windows Components" /"Networking Services" I placed a checkmark by the "Simple TCP/IP Services", hoping that this would take care of the problem.
As WinXP tried to make the change I got the message:
"simptcp.dll" is needed. However I could not find it on the OS Disk.
Have gone to the website where to find missing .dll files but it was not found there either.
Has anybody had this problem?
Should I leave the .....simple TCP/IP box unchecked? I have it unchecked again....
Would it be better if I uninstalled Outlook and Outlook Express and then reinstalled it from the OS CD?
I'm using Outlook 'cause I use it also to sync my iPaq with it.
Have also tried Thunderbird and and Outlook Express but still can't seem to send to certain addresses. They look as they have been sent and they don't come back as "undelivered" but yet they never arrive.
If you have any suggestions, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks
