timing out

i noticed a lot recently that my computer has been doing a lot of "alert, the page could not be found", and sometimes i have to click on the link 2-3 times in order for it to "go through". what would i do to fix that problem...i think i might have accidentally messed something up?

Are you behind a router? I had a Linksys that did that when I first bought it, but once I updated the firmware it worked just fine.
