Printer talk

I have a old Epson 440 printer. It saved me a ton of money because I inject ink into it, which only cost me pennies. But now it is ready to go. I want to if there is a printer on the market like this one , so I can still inject ink.
SO is the cheap ink party over ? I see a lot of printers use a chip on the ink cartrage.

I have an Epson 480sxu. I buy generic ink cartridges from www.extracartridges.com
The ink is so cheap now that black is about $1.50 per cartridge and color is about $2. Look around for an Epson printer you would like to buy then go to their site and see if they have cartridges for it. I've been using generic cartridges in this printer for 4+ years without a problem. Some Canon printers will use generic cartridges also. This beats the heck out of refilling.

Wow that is a good site. It is better than filling a messy cartrage.
Thanks

I just replaced my older Epson for an Epson CX4600. Before I made the purchase I went to my favorite site for cartridges to make sure they carried them. I always buy from www.lasermonks.com and have never regretted the purchase. If you own a Lexmark your are out of luck on pricing but otherwise great buys.
