My BareBones?

Hello to all, I just got a nice barbones kit with a bada$$ looking case But some things will not work, my brother and i finally got an CD Drive that would work and installed windows XP.

The real problem is this when i try to play Medal Of Honor an error message keeps coming up, and for somer reason the sound will not play thought my headphones. When i go to volume control it wants me to do something with the add new hardware and i don't see why.

Any way i was wondering why my medal of Honor wouldn't work this is what the error message looked like.

Have you tried the "OLD " uninstall --- reinstall ?
also try matching the resolution in the game to that of you system.

Just a starting point to kick off suggestions

when it says that, it typically means you don't have the right video drivers loaded. since windowsXP does not provide openGL drivers by default (because microsoft is NOT a monopoly ) you need the video card manufacturer's drivers to runa ny openGL based game (which medal of honor is).

So do you have any idea where i might aquire good video drivers?
i wish they came with the game so i wouldn't have to go through this trouble.

Drivers are not included in games, they're included in your videocard package. Anyways, it depends on what your videocard is. The Brands that are designed for gaming are ATI and nVidia. The 2 websites are
www.nvidia.com
www.ati.com
Or, if it's an integrated solution, try Intel's website. But, I have a feeling it is a videocard.

Try www.nvidia.com for video card drivers if you're using a geforce.
