EvilRick,

I hope you're referring to the new channel. The old TechTV had some good shows, 'The ScreenSavers', 'Call For Help', and 'Eyedrops'. All were entertaining, informative, and intelligent.

Unfortunately, the new management must believe that computers are good for nothing but video games (bleeding edge).

EvilRick,

I've been meaning to ask,

How does one become a 'big mean moderator'?

Are you paid to do this? Where can I sign up?

Leo Laporte & Patrick Norton, where ARE you?

I used to enjoy watching TechTV's 'The ScreenSavers'.

Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton hosted the show, which dealt with computing and technology.

Unfortunately, Comcast aquired TechTV, moved the show to L.A., and replaced the beloved hosts.

Does ANYONE watch G4TechTV now?

This entire channel is a commercial that never ends.

Does anyone else miss the old show? Can we get it back?

Yes, I'm referring to the new line-up they have now. They need to focus on "real" computer users, issues, and technology.

NOBODY but me can be a "Big Mean Moderator". Others have tried, all have failed.

Used to be a good channel, I used to look forward to watching it every night.

"Call for help" was an okay show, never anything I didnt really know but useful at times. "Screensavers" generally rather amusing.

Tried to watch the new channel the other night. HORRORS. I think I lasted 15 minutes. I see Morgan is still there looking trashier than ever and that idiotic blonde guy hasnt budged either, he should try combing his hair down every once in a while.

Guess ill stick to the Discovery science channel.

Outdoors Leo Laporte TechTV

I too have stopped watching or recommending TechTV / the Screensavers, now that it has shifted from what I felt was one of the most educational shows on TV. I work in the "travel technology" industry, and interface with loads of IT folks at major travel agencies across the US. We all spoke of how great Leo and Patrick are, and how helpful the "Screensavers" was

I no longer tune into the station, I guess the sponsors want to make all there $'s from the gammers. It has turned from a great network to worthless! Too bad! Good educational shows are getting very hard to find on cable now!

If these guys who made the change in format have 1/2 a brain, they would bring Leo and Patrick back before some smarter station or network grabs them.

Rumer has it that Kevin Rose, Foo, and Yoshi are trying to put together a new show to be aired elsewhere.
