IE Homepage will not go away

Hello there i am Bandit B as you can see. I have problem getting rid of this home page it just won't go away. I downloaded and ran Spy bot search and destroy it found spyware even in wildtagent(which has left this error message when i logg on my account) but any way i deleted the spyware but still this homepage remains i don't know what to do please help.

If you are running Win XP, and have more than one user ID, the spyware must be eliminated from ALL accounts before it will be gone for good.

What is the homepage that is in question?

Just running spybot will not get it. You need adaware, cwshredder, antivir and hijackthis to properly clean, as well as spybot. Even then there might be something missed, ive manually cleaned up a few after all that.

Run them in that order. Do a google search on the names as I posted them to find the programs. A little homework. Google is your friend.

LOL ok i know google is my friend i have seached there already and have seen some things but i would have rather asked you. umm i'll get back to you on the home page because i have to reboot and i need the others permission since i am not the only one that uses this Machine.

Spyware, etc. that has hijacked my homepage in the past has always been eliminated by using XP's system restore feature. Choose a date before the problem began and presto.

Of course, if this is a public machine as you indicated, you may not have the necessary access --- also, if it's a VERY public machine, you'll likely end up having the same problem again within a short time.

Thanks Fellaz I'll try some of these programs i think this Hijack one is vital right so i'll get that sygate for a fire wall and see what else i can do.
