NFS hot pursuit doesnt work on p 4

hi guys ;
i have a intel pentium 4 with 2.4 ghz , 256 mb ram out of which 32 mb is shared fo graphics and s3 pro savage driver.
in spite of this games like FIFA ,NFS hot pursuit 2 doesnt work.
when i check with the requirement software thats present in cd i get this message
req speed your pc speed
450 mhz -1884 mhz
this message began with fifa 2002 and it is also coming in NFS Hot Pursuit 2 but some how NFS Underground works .
plz plz someone help

My guess is that your video card is not supported by the game.I had the same problem with the game on mine when i had a s3 virge pci card.See if there is update drivers for your card and then try running it

i have heard of older games not working w/ newer systems but i don't know how old the game you are playing is. Try checking the games website for a patch or update. I would start there.

It's probably the S3 onboard video.

When I had an S3 Trio 8MB video card, I couldn't get many games to run properly at all.

I upgraded to a Geforce 2 MX (It was state-of-the-art at the time) and I could run any game without a problem.

I'd look for any Nvidia or ATI graphics card. Even the low-end ones should run those games.
