IDE controlers problem

Hello i'm new in computers and i've done something with my computer but i'm not sure what, so now everytime i turn it on it appears some message 'found new hardware' it says - secondary controler, then i uninstall secondary and primary controlers and now appears a message 'found new hardware' for both, when i try to install them it says - "this driver is not intended for this platform" and this one in 'properties options - "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)".
could you help me please

what version of windows are you using, and do you know what motherboard you have? if you don't know what the motherboard is, the model and manufacturer of the computer should give us enough information.

no i don't know but i repair it yet
it was cause of a software which made virtual drives but i removed them and the IDE drivers installed by themselfs (i use Win XP)
