try renaming it also so the prefetch won't be able to run it.
you can run a handy little utility called xteq which will allow you to clear your windows prefetch list and after renaming the file it should be leared out of starting up when you login to windows.
also, try searchign the registry for that file, and see where it pops up. that should give you an indication of where it came from.
if you're not running any antivirus software, it may be a good time to start. often times viruses will create executeable files with random names so that they are harder to detect, and searching google doesn't come up with anything on that file name, plus it looks pretty random.
if you can end task on it and it doesn't effect anything, and if it actually is a virus, chances are that it is really easy to remove, so i wouldn't worry. the fact that ending the process makes your dvd software work better is a definite indication that the file requires additional attention, and it's probably not a good thing.
