firefox crashed! need help badly

Ok guys. Firefox 1 finally crashed on me for no reason. Then after that when i tried reopneing it, it said i had to create another profile or something. But after that, all my bookmarks and settings WERE GONE. I tried to reget my bookmarks by going into the Application Data\Mozilla directory to find my book marks but nothing! Can anyone please help me? =(

If everything was delete I propose using GetDataBack for NTFS/FAT, it is a very usefull tools for recovering lost data.
