Media Desktop Icon for Control Panel

Hi,
I'm using WinXP and use the "classic view".
In the past I had an icon for the control panel ( I use a lot) on my desktop. In the meantime I reformatted and now I can't remember how I placed the control panel on there.
Got any ideas??
Thanks in advance, Ann

Desktop Icon for Control Panel

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I couldn't drag the My Computer Icon onto the Taskbar.
In the meantime I found a solution for it tho.
I opened "My Computer- C Drive- Windows Folder-System32 Folder.
From there I found the "Control" icon and copied, then pasted it onto the desktop.
I appreciate your suggestion. Ann
