Can you not simply go to Add and Remove Programs under your Control panel? (** i don't have XP so i cannot tell you how)

What are your problems?

you should not need to remove it just re install it over the existing copy and it will re-write the files......if you deleted any or some got corrupted this is fine....if you have some other problems we will need details to tell you what the best course of action would be............later

Thanks for the replies...

The problem I am having is CONSTANT errors popping up and saying that IE has to shutdown... It's the windows error that asks you if you want to send the report to microsoft or not.

I have this with a few other programs, but mostly with IE, and it's constant.

My system is as follows:

3.0 gig P4

512 megs of ram (PC 3200)

Windows XP

Well If you have a way to back up your important stuff, I'd recommend a Format and Reinstall. I do it 2-3 times a year to keep things running smoothly. Others do it less because their computers don't get used as much. Not a difinate thing you have to do, but it's what I'd recommend.

I'd also recommend simply not using IE. Firefox is a much better browser IMO, It also has much, much less security concerns than IE.

Firefox is the way to go, use it for general browsing, fire up IE on certain sites that require it. Those sites are usually not going to muck it up any.
