shortcuts don't work
I used to have an IBM 300GL, but recently got a new (or newer) emachines T1115. I added 40 GB to the older computer, which was the D drive, plus the 2 GB C drive. I copied the old drive (2 GB) to the new drive (40 GB), and moved it to the new computer, which didn't have a hard drive at all. The new D drive is the CD drive, and the C drive is the 40 GB (the old D drive), so the programs loaded on the old D drive stayed on the D drive. The shortcuts are now looking in the CD drive for the original program that they are "shortcutting" to. Is there a way I can solve this problem? Will I have to re-target each program? I am willing, if worst comes to worst, to delete everything and start from scratch. How do I do that?
