What's a good sound card to get?

What's a good sound card to get? 5.1 is good enough.
Since there are not that many brands to choose from I would think Turtle Beach or Creative would be the way to go.

Especially now that they are becoming cheap, the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz is a good choice.

Personally, I really like my purchase of the Audigy2 ZS Gamer However it is now about $10 less than what I paid for it.
