6800 Drivers

[Overcooked]

I have a Leadtek 6800 video card. The card came drivers. They are seen as "winfast display drivers" in add/remove programs.

Now i want to upgrade to the newest drivers from nVidia, or some tweaked drivers, i.e. omega, ect.

Can i do this? or do i need to keep these older winfast drivers?

If i can use nVidia drivers, which ones would pick?

Take your pick of drivers, you can use any of them.

Nividia's own newest Detenator drivers were released in the past week and that is what I would pick. Just head over to http://nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

Basically do what bombledmonk said, because the leadtek card is exactly the same card as an true nvidia card.Accept the lead tek has a cheaper heatsinkfan combo and maybe a slightly less aggressive GPU speed.So if you go to the nvidia site like bombledmonk said there should be tons of up to date drivers for your card

Thanks to the both of you. I just wanted to make sure i could use nVidia drivers. I wasnt to sure. Thanks.

The HSF is anything but cheeper then what comes with any of the other nVidia cards. This thing is built like a beast, and doesnt even need to be replaced when overclocking. Its all copper, with full mem sinks all the way around. I live it! And the GPU is at the same speed as the other cards as well.
