Nero 6 error, can't burn stuff onto DVD-RW ?

Does anyone have problem with Nero 6 when burning DVD + or - RW discs or any ideal on how to fix this problem that I am having. I try to disc stuff onto a DVD - RW and i get this error message "can't not start at disc at once" with my SONY 510A DVD Buner and so I went to a friend and using his DVD buner, I get another error "illegal disc and can't not start at disc at once". Any ideals?

Yup i hate nero , try NTI burning software
