IRQ AND WIRELESS

I have an HP Pavilion -- the sound card is built into the modem. We removed the modem and replaced it with a wireless for internet connection. We removed it, because it told me that there are no IRQ's available. Is there any way to somehow make another IRQ available for the sound? Using Windows 98.

Best advice i can give is go for network card , get high speed internet (dsl cable) , and don't use win 98.Also using an actual sound card would be a good idear too lol.
