Help!!

I installed Service Pack 2, then couldn't connect to my P2P network due to restrictions, so i removed it from control panels add/remove programs........now i'm d/ling at 20b/s where before i was d/ling at 100b/s can anyone tell me how to fix this, as i don't want to format my hard drive as i lose everything.

i don't want to sound synical here, but i would just uninstall service pack 2 if you want to re-gain the functionality. otherwise you may have to wait until they update the software to work properly with service pack 2.

service pack 2 is a radical change to windows xp, much moreso than any other service pack release. i'm getting the feeling it may be a good idea to start it's own thread in here somewhere.
