I have this problem with the "system idle process" it seem like once in a while the CPU usage is like 97 -99% for this program or something and stay there and doesn't go back to down. Is there something wrong or did I just set up my PC wrong or something ?
The idle process runs threads that don't do anything, and only "takes" processor time when no other processors need anything done. If it's "usage" is high, it means that you aren't do anything.
