P6BAT-A+ Motherboard Fastest CPU ?

Hello My Question is just a basic one hopefully easliy answered
My Current or Second Computer more or less my server and Backup is a P6Bat-A+ Motherboard and Has the newest Bios Revison i check manufactuers website for Cpu info and it list 850mhz Pentium 3 as the fastest Cpu it can handle but i'm curious if it capable of handling a faster CPU as long as its not a Tualatin Pentium 3 Since there are 1.0 Ghz P3 Still Floating around And would like to max out the board if more info is needed or my question is not up to par let me know i will include more info if needed

Current system Specs

Intel Pentium 3 650 Mhz (Currently using a Slocket 370 Adapt)
512 MB Sdram PC-133 (Rather then using the slot 1 Cpu)

the highest that board can handle is a 1 gig p3 for sure. the only issue you might have is setting the multiplier to the necessary 7.5 it needs. since the multiplier is locked with the p3, chances are the board will just go ahead and detect the multiplier and run the 133 front side bus, and it might give you a warning message about it during post for information purposes that you can go ahead and ignore. the voltages should be fine.

throw out everythign i said if this motherboard is a slot-1 that doesn't support 133 front side bus and 1.8 core voltage. if that is the case, you're topped out at a 1 gig slot 1 p3 with 100 mhz front side bus with the older core.
