POWER SUPPLY SUGGESTIONS?

I'm building a system for the 1st time and I was jsut wondering what power supply would be best suited. Heres the setup

Processsor: AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 2.4 GHz
Motherboard: Asus K8V
Graphics Card:nVidia GeForce 6800 FX Ultra
Hard Drive: Western Digital WD740 (2 in RAID 0)
Optical Drive: Sony DRU-530A DVD+RW/-RW Drive
Sound Card: Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
Memory: Corsair 1GB PC3200 DDR DIMM Memory

I also intend to do a lot of modding in adding bells and whistles such as lights and al that good stuff

I was considering this power supply Aerocool 550Watt Blue Acrylic Power Supply, enough, not enough, or too much?

Have a look at the Antec site...their power supplies are very reliable...and they have a couple of models relevant to you.

Other than that...I don't know what mod brands are good.

Can you have to much?

Fans and lights wont really pull to much, id say that 550 will be fine. Ive got an Antec true blue 500 with four neon lights and its fine, I dont have the video card you do ( or will ) though.

Just get the best one you can afford but dont skimp

i would say an Antec True 430watt or a Thermaltake Silent Purepower 480watt. either of those should run that setup fine. PS. nice setup you got there

There's no such thing as a 6800 FX Ultra. I'm guessing you meant 6800 Ultra?
