Yo, i just got a new sound card Audigy2 ZS and when i hook it up with my reciever HARMAN KARDON 7000 with coax through the digital output in the back of the card i only get stero mode and i cant have dts or dolby digital. there is also only 2 spearkers working stereo when i have a 5.1 system. Can someone tel me is there any encoder to install on?

I'm not familar with either piece of hardware, but both the receiver and the sound card have to support the same signaling over the coax. You will also need to set pass through for the 5.1 signal.

in the audio hq controll panel applet for the creative labs sound card there is a single place to allow digital output, and on that same part of the applet there should be your speaker output settings as well. dig around there and find that, and make sure that little box is checked.

because you are getting sound at all, it probably is, but the other 3 speakers may not be enabled, or some other settings in that part of the applet may not be enabled properly. play with that, as it is usually the one place to fix most simple configuration problems for your creative sound cards.
