Food suggestion please

I changed my CPU fan on the heat sink,do i set it to blow up(sucking out)or down wards blowing into the sink?
both ways didn't fry my 2500 Barton, but would like to know the right way.
mobo is Abit NF7 ,the cooler is a thermal take, but the noise was too laud,so changed (only the fan)to 80 MM antec fan.
Thank you.

Majority, not all, but majority have the fan blowing down onto the heatsink.

I believe all thermaltake coolers are supposed to have the fan blowing down onto the heatsink.

Zalman Fan

A company called Zalman are offering a really interesting fan that is suitable for both intel and amd chips, along with differeing socket/lga designs.

It looks really good...I have not tried it, but reviews are positive.

Be sure to check it out in future if you are buying a fan.

(it is the AlCu or Cu fan in the 7000 series)
