winxp question
I have a hp pavilion with winxp on it but it didnt come with any disk

is there any way I can put winxp on my old win98 computer??

Not that way, you will have to buy it.

If you just pick up the OEM version off a internet reseller site, such as newegg.com, it will only set you back $75-80. Price fluctuates.

The fact of the matter is that your license to Windows XP is linked to that computer. You cannot legally install it on any other.

yeah...it doesnt take much to get an affordable copy of WinXP Pro...

That would be best...dont stuff around with recovery disks and that...I dont think that is a good use of time.
