ok first i would like to say Hi to everyone and your help will be appreciated as errors with my comp lately are driving me nuts.
This is going to be sort of long about what has happened and whats been done to try and resolve issues......
first my system is:
amd athlon xp 2100+
1 gb ram- kingmax
nvidia geforce 4 ti 4600
powermax 600 watt Lp 6100 power supply
kx7-333 motherboard
soundblaster audigy gamer soundcard
30 gb western digital hdd
Linksys wireless-b pci adapter model no. wmp11
Ok, one day my system started getting bsods quite a bit, so i did the typical checking drivers and uninstalling hardware.
Nothing changed so i ran memtest on the ram and it came up with errors so i replaced my ram about 5 days ago.
Still was getting BSODs just not as many, so i decided to partition format and reinstall xp, but when i went to reinstall xp an error popped up stating that windows xp could not install because c: was corrupt, that coupled with the hdd making clicking noises I figured it needed replaced.
I put in a 30 gb to replce the 80gb hdd

I partition, format and install xp no problem, was a perfect installation.
Updated all drivers for devices and such.
Next I went to download service pack 1 for xp, it downloads fine, but while its installing I get a BSOD.
Same thing happens when I try to install AOL instant messenger.
the BSODs that have come up are:
page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

usbport error came up only once 2 days ago
I have scanned the new memory with memtest and theres been no errors
the system will run solid until I try installing
haven't tested in any games yet because i haven't attempted to install any yet
mouse has froze up a couple of times right after starting the system up
the mouse is a usb wireless logitech and so is the keyboard and I have never had any problems with them in the past
also have a logitech wingman and wingman wireless plugged in usbs
thank you for reading and any help would be appreciated
