this is completely different than what everyone needs, but does anybody know how to crash a computer without infecting it with a virus?

is there like a key file or something that i can delete to crash it?

if so, please email me at quicksilverva666@hotmail.com.

thanks

oh sorry. forgot to mention why.

my dad built my computer for christmas, and installed a 38.1GB harddrive, and i want a new one. he wont put a new one in unless this one crashes.

i know its mean, but its the only way i know of to get a new one.

This makes about no sense. If you just delete files, all he has to do is reinstall them.

To "crash" the HDD would be to have it actually fail. That ain't gonna happen unless you damage it physically.

you cant sue people for being computer illiterate.

you also cant sue someone for being bad son...if you could, id recommend your dad retain council.

Why do you even want to "crash" the computer to get a new hard drive...38 gb seems fine for most things unless your heavily into games or vide editing. What brand is the hard drive anyways because only a few are 38gb and those are relatively fast hard drives. If you want a new HD I would recommend that you save up the money yourself and then go buy one instead of making your dad.

what do you mean by a "new one" ?.
if the one you have isnt big enough, and you fake crash it...your dad will toss the old perfectly good HD, right?.

if you just need more space, ask your dad if you can do some chores or something to earn the money....or if you get allowance, save some back.

you can get a hard drive for a great price on ebay.com, newegg.com, etc.

if you use ebay, make sure the seller has good feedback.
