You should be able to use "Roxio Easy CD Creator". Just make sure the drive is supported.

oh ok

My burner is not on the list so its not supported. I will try creator 7. And Rox will find the burner which is plugged in the USB port. Thought I may have to do something so Roxio can find the burner , not sure how that works.

I've never used a USB drive, so not sure how it's detected.

Don't forget there's also Nero.

OH

Now that Roxio works fine, I just looked it up on its web page. It seems it does not support XP. But it seems to be working fine so far. Think I should try and find Roxio 6? It does support XP. Note I have version 5 basic.

?

I have Easy CD Creator 5 on my XP machine, no problems at all.

You can't have DirectCD I believe or Take Two. Been awhile since I installed it. One or both of those is not compatible with XP.
