timezone is on a distinguished road
My computer givin long beeps. Help help

i took out my hardrive then install it back now my pc is not bootin up. It lights up and fan spin but i keep hearin beeps. Like this: beeeeeeep, pause, beeeeeeep, pause, beeeeeeeep,pause, beeeeeep. and it keep goin. what did i do wrong. nothing isn't comin up on the screen

turn off pc, unplug, dble check your HD and pwr connector, did you do anything in the bios or why did you take out the HD.

Have you tried to reset the bios with the jumper?

beep codes are specific to each motherbaord. grab you manual and look it up, or check it online, to figure out what the problem is.

That beep sequence is typical of a physical memory issue. Try reseating your chips.

How do i reset the jumpers? do i turn on the pc after swithin jumpers or just swithc them then put it back

Refer to your mobo specs to find out which jumper resets CMOS. Typically, you turn your PC off, move the specified jumper, then turn your PC back on. It should boot straight to BIOS. It should then instruct you to turn your PC off, then move the jumper back to its original position.

RAM issue

What was said above is true...long beeps that repeat over and again are RAM missing beep code...you need to check that.
