Systems How to access CMOS

Hi,

How can I access CMOS if my PS2 port is not working. I wanted to use my USB keyboard. I want to enable USB support so that I can use it to enter the CMOS, the question is HOW?

thanks in advanced.

Since it seems USB keyboard control via the BIOS is not already configured for your system, you will require a PS/2 keyboard to set the feature. Looks like you will be heading to local Staples or other computer retailer to pick up a cheap keyboard.

You should be able to access the keyboard via usb without your ps2 working.

The keyboard should work in basic mode and allow you to enable USB key and maybe mouse support.

to enter setup:

PC = delete key
Compaq = F5 (i think)
IBM = F1 or F2 (i think)
