cable viewing question
i just switched from time warner digital box to the new pioneer hd 3150 box, when the cable guy connected he ran component cables and audio to the dtv component in on my mitsubish 65313,
when i watched the channels the only formats i could switch to was 1080i-1080 strech,he suggested i run a rca-video-s to the tv and set up another input, worked great nice picture in 480 or 1080,but i have to sitch formats if im watching 1080 or 480,a friend at work said i should be able to watch 480 or 180 thorugh the component cables,so i did alittle searching nad found that in my warner remote the out put settings were only set for 1080,i added 480i and 480p,so i switched the input to the conponent
and channels switch automatically when veiwing hd or anolog shows, problem is the picture on 480i signals dosent look as good as when i swith the input to the rca-video-s format????
conponent is suppose to be better right?picture should at least look as good as the rca-video-s format?ive tried unplugging the video-s and still picture looks weaker through the conponent hookup,my box only has 1 conponent out /1 rca out/1 video -s out
and1 digital audio out,any help is appreciated
