ram problem

ibm computer, intel celeron 700mhz, 64mb ram pc133-333

I bought a 256mb ram 133 to upgrade but it doesn't work. I hear about 5 beeps. what is wrong

you gotta be more specific. it probably doesnt reconize it. you probably didnt buy the right kind (juding by the specs i pressume its running pc100 RAM.....)

I KNOW for sure you didn't get the right kind, because it has happened to me before!

well the one that came with it is a pc133 thats y i thought it was the right type
