Hello i was wondering if anyone could help me, i just tryed to play a far
cry demo that i got off a DVD cover disk and it installs fine and everything
but when i play it i cant really see anything, could this be to do with a
wrong graphic card driver installed or something? i am pretty sure that it is, when i tryed to run another game (prince of persia, sands of time) it said something about a wrong driver being installed... i have a 64MB Geforce 440go graphics card and a 3.06Ghz P4 processor and 1GB of ram on my laptop.. so im sure the game should run at least, it doesnt even run at the lowest settings, i can not see anything..
I tryed getting the drivers from my laptop manufacturer but they dont seem to be on their site...not yet anyway.

can anyone help me?

Far Cry will be a slideshow on that computer even if you find the right drivers. But you also failed to mention computer brand. Here are the drivers for a dell.....

the min requirements state at least a 128 meg card. you have to understand that farcy has the best graphics out right now (yes better than unreal 2004, morrowind, etc.) in fact, until doom 3 comes out, i think it will have the best graphic engine from now untill then. you cant run it with a 64 meg card. it shouldnt have let you even install it, im supprised it did. sorry man, you gotta use it on a pc with a really nice video card, but trust me its worth it. its one of my favorite games!

however, the game also says that laptop versions of the cards specified to work might not.

the minimum specs for far cry says a 64MB card and my friend has a laptop with the same graphics card as mine and all the other specs are lower than mine and it runs pretty well
