Problem with DeployCenter

Hi,

The problem we are having is that when we reboot our Windows 2000 Server (Exchange 2000, Win2K SP3), we get the following error at POST screen:

Err 5: Error finding VFLOPPY.SYS
Err 8: Fake floppy driver not found
Press any key to boot active partition.

When I press any key, the machine boots up fine and everything is working.

We have PowerQuest DeployCenter 5.01 installed and we use it for cloning. We'd never had this problem on this machine and were able to successfuly clone it with DeployCenter. Now, of course, we can't clone it. I am hoping if anyone is familiar with this issue.

VFLOPPY.SYS is a component of DeployCenter. It is used for creating Virtual Floppy Disks, that are used for booting into DeployCenter - which is at DOS. I uninstalled DeployCenter, and the problem occured again. I reinstalled it, and the error still appears.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try uncompressing .vfd-files from ../Program Files/Drive Image/VFD -directory. Then reclone if needed. Helps with Drive Image. Maybe the cause with DC also.
