Downloading ms updates

Anybody know a way to download the microsoft "critical updates" for W98SE?

It would be nice to download one time and not have to do it every time you reinstall or build a new machine.

i dont think you can, M$ wants you too suffer as much as possible. so if u install win98 you have to go thru 60MB of updates. can take a while on 56k too bad they didnt make like a service pack thing that u can download one file and have all the latest updates.

The best way I know of doing that is doing this:
Click the link "Read me about"(something like that)

Click the link inside that popup window, where it shows what article it was talked about in.

Then follow links to the download.

yea, but you can't download all the updates at once that way. I'm sure there's a way for corporate users to update their machines easy...

I figured out how to download IE, and some of the other things, but crititical updates is a problem!

Thanks Jim,
No, those are individual updates, and does not enclude the IE updates.

If I do a clean install of W98SE and then go to the Windows updates I find that it's a 10 meg download. I guess thats the best way to do it. It's hard to download those individually and know if you got the right ones, and what order to install.
