The application DLL C:/Windows/system32/DNSAPI.dll is not a valid windows image please check this against your installation diskette



I have had Windows XP SP1 for three days..and this error happends...after i click ok..nothing..black screen of death..it won't even allow me to load windows at all...what do i do???


And i don't know much about computers..just the bare basics..

I may be wrong but the latest virus done this the Sasser check your cpu and if it is up to 100% AT IDLE THAT WILL BE IT

and go to http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../MS04-011.mspx and download the patch

definitely sounds like Sasser

You'll need to clean it using aantivirus and above patch
