My CD-RW drive does not burn CD's Can someone help!?!

I have a LITE-ON LTR 48126S Drive and it can burn cd's I downloaded and got rid of stuff and now it does not work i don't know what to do. Please help.!!!!

What software are you using to burn CDs?

windows media player and even the windows application. I've tried winamp and nothin' works!

Well, I wouldn't consider those two reliable options. Do you have any other burning software you can use?

Try a FREE download of Nero 6.3.0.3 (If on dial-up, go for the 5.5.10.42)

First of all, your title says that the burner cannot burn CDs, yet your first statement is that it does. Maybe you could shed some light on which is true.

Second, you state that it can burn CDs that you downloaded. As of yet, you cannot download physical objects; perhaps you could expound on the meaning of this statement.

Finally, you say that you got rid of stuff, but don't tell us what. Enlightening us on what exactly you did could be helpful.

Once we have a clue, maybe we can make some constructive comments.

I missed the t in can't and as for the stuff i had downloaded i am not sure what it all was . things like programs and software so i wasn't quite sure if that caused a problem or not thats why i mentioned it. I tried nero and it didn't work either. So As the name of the thread say it cannot!!! burn cd's And i mean downloaded music not physical CD's

well first of all the lite on cd-r sucks...cause i use to have one and it couldn't burn Cds after a while...so i got a Sony DVD burner...man that thing kick a$$...but about your situation...ask yourself these:

do you have the driver installed correctly?

what format is your downloaded music in, cause it has to be a certain type to be able to play on cd players.

use other softeware, cause i don't think the regular windows media player can burn cd's.
